Upgraded to D7000 do i keep d40x or sell it

Just interested as to what you all would do. I like having a second smaller camera. What are your thoughts?

keep it as a car camera.

It takes great pics and i guess its worth keeping around for 200 dollars

Yes keep it, never can have enough cameras

Yes. It's a good camera and you never know when you may need it. It's worth more in a drawer than what you'll get for it.

Keep it. You never know when you'll need a spare, or go somewhere that you might be uncomfortable taking a more expensive camera.

Keep it, I use my D40x for all the shots I want guaranteed to come out correctly

and gasp,, cameras need repairs,, so always nice to have that backup.


Also,, the D40X has the D80 generation 10 Meg CCD sensor, which is one of my favorite sensors, rich, vibrant, and as long as you don't push the ISO,, then the D40x is capable of gorgeous pictures.

I don't plan to ever get rid of my D80. (once I upgrade her to a D7000).
