Funny story about this: I ordered it on Friday, then on Saturday my dad gave me a Lowepro TLZ AW and I really liked it. So I tried to cancel the 202 and found out it was too late. Instead of refusing delivery or returning it, I think I will use both. One will hold the 35mm, the other the DSLR. I'll decide which one I like better until I need the greater capacity of the 202.

Bonus for today: Water beading on a picnic table I built for my MIL for Christmas. Wood cut early December, assembled and delivered the Saturday before Christmas.

I never would have looked at piece of lumber this way.

This strange glowing object appeared in the sky today. Not sure what it was. Didn't provide any warmth, though.

This one is a reflection off my trunk. Impressive, considering how dirty it is.

Picnic table wood resembles a salmon steak.

Unfortunately I forgot to shoot anything really interesting today, so I'll share my 'Surprise! Woodworking!' ones from today. Bunk bed broke last night, I replaced and added supports today.

I also made the unwise decision to hang my new workshop doors at 4pm on a Friday. I need to plane them down so they actually fit.
Fun with flash, this was taken well after the sun went down with a TTL flash unit in the shoe aimed at about 75º to the shot. I have zero experience with flash.

I took this with my GS3 and applied the Paris filter in the Flickr app. Drinks for football watching, Mexican Coke. I feel bad about not touching the Nikon today, I may have to go and rectify that with some gratuitous snaps.
