D80 won't change aperture

So I got my D80 used from Adorama and it has worked great, but I picked it up today and its stuck at f22. It will not change in manual or aperture priority. I tried 3 different lenses with the same results, and tried them on my other D80 and worked fine. I am pretty sure the front adjustment is the only way to change it, but maybe I am missing something? I've only had it about a month so there's still a learning curve.

Any advice would be great. It is still under warranty.

Have you got it set in the menu to change aperture by the camera body wheel or by lens aperture dial ?

I dont know the D80, but my D300 works like this, depending on the type of lens fitted

I tried both a AF, and a AF-S lens.

False alarm. I just figured it out. When my grip is on, it won't let me adjust it from the body. Only the grip.

Nikon or aftermarket grip? Seems odd that it would change like that without giving you a menu option to revert it to normal.

Its a cheapy. Not too worried about it now that I have it figured out. I was freaking out for a minute.

Isn't there a switch on your grip to turn it on and off? Maybe when you turn it off you could get the controls back on top? Worth a try.
