We had a special visitor today at our village, where I went to see my grandparents

Great sunset shot, really like the diffused light through the clouds. Nice BW technique on your Grandfather's portrait!

The portrait was a sudden inspiration, as we were preparing to leave and I was checking my photos in the camera. Normally I don't do portraits, just because.... people don't want their photo to be taken. On the contrary, landascapes and plants are ideal targets!!!

Here is a colorful composition un on the medieval walls!!!
An the scripture on the grave of a famous greek writer - Nikos Kazatzakis- who is buried within the medieval walls.
In Greek: "Δεν ελπίζω τίποτα,
Δε φοβάμαι τίποτα,
Είμαι λεύτερος."
In English: "I don't hope for anything,
I don't afraid anything,
I am free."
