Hello
I am Raj from india
I am new here, bought d3100 couple of months ago,
I like to shoot landscape, street and macro
wanted to by 35mm f1.8, but i am also interested in macro
should i go for 40m f2.8 micro(will it be good for low light and landscapes)
or
i buy 35mm and wait for a year to get macro lens later
i am tight on budget can't get costly macro lens

How is macro of tamron 70-300mm tele macro lens

I would consider the 35mm or the 40mm but not both. It would be too much duplication, IMO. Use the money you save to buy a Nikkor 70-300mm VR-II lens. The difference in price between it and the Tamron will be money well spent.

I agree with Dave and having owned both on a Dx body I would go with the 40mm micro. It is much more versatile and if you have the kit lens, you have something wider so the 5mm shouldn't be an issue.
