Tripod mount

Do you all LEAVE your tripod mount attached to the bottom of your camera? I don't use my tripod all that much, but it is convienient when I do. Just wondering. Thanks!

Once I put it on the camera, I usually leave it for a few days or so, in case I may want to pod it again. Once I see no forseeable tripod work, I usually take it off. The next time I think I might, then I drop it back on the camera...

I do not leave it on all the time... only takes a minute to add it..

Same as Pat. I have one on both my cameras at present as I am currently in "jump in the car and run an errand" mode, and there's always a tripod in the back seat just in case.

I leave the tripod mount attached to both the camera body and the tripod collar of my Sigma 150-500. For me it's more convenient to leave them on rather that digging them out of the bag.

I was caught out once with no mount, now I permanently have one on each camera and one on the battery grip so they are always there.

Better to be looking at it than for it!

looks like a consensus, rarely take them off, and buy extra for any lens that has a collar.
