White Balance Recording Indicator?

In the viewfinder of My D3200 there is a section on the bottom that will show how many shots I have remaining while holding down the release button 1/2 the way. When it is not pressed it shows something else. From what I get from the manuel is that it is a White Balance Recording Indicator.

What is that??

Edit: I know what White Balance is and how to change it.

I dug a bit deeper and it is showing me the temp buffer and how many pics I can shoot while the current shot is being copied to the SD card.

It also can apparantly indicate other things like the one I mentioned plus a flash and an exposure compensation indicator. Not to mention the ISO sensitivity which I believe I have turned off.

Does anyone know how to show those indicators?
