Nissan Flash for D-300

Anybody using the Nissan flash for the D-300. If so what do you think about it and does it work with the camera built in wireless function. I am looking for a back-up flash with TTL but without the price tag of the SB-800/SB-900. Any info would be a big help.

I use it with a D300. the off camera slave works as advertised, but you need the camera flash to trigger it.
