newborn pics. . .

my sister asked me to take some snaps of her newborn son today. . .she wanted to do the "basket thing" that she saw on the net. . .so she brought some props over and we set up the shoot. . .

i just used my sb700 on a stand shooting through a white umbrella. . . positioned on the left or right, a little in front of the baby just out of the frame. . .i knew there would be shadows casted, but i kind of like the light dark look. . .my sister was very pleased with the shots. . .

we had some fun with the shoot. . . she, my mom, and my other sister helped with all the posing (and calming of the baby lol). . .
