What accessories fit D3100? Any D3000 series?

I am buying my wife some accessories for her camera, and I find that there are a lot more accessories listed as D3000 than I do for D3100. Will D3000 accessories fit the d3100?

Anyone have a compatibility chart or anything for swappable accessories?

What accessories are you looking to purchase? All flashes, lenses, and remotes will interchangeable.

I was looking at flashes and remotes when I posted this. I was mainly looking to hook her camera up to a strobe/light control box, tethering, etc. But like I said, I wasn't sure because some of them were labeled one or the other and not both. I am used to working on cars where you can swap parts for other vehicles because they use the same chassis, etc. I didn't know if the internal guts of the cameras were different but the basic bodies were the same. Thanks for the info!
