This is from Diana's fashion shoot.

Camera & Lens:
Nikon D700 and Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8

Settings:
ISO 200, 70mm, f/16, 1/160s

Lighting:
53" Octa w/inner and outer diffusion [placed on axis and just above subject]

Did you use just the one light?
If so it seemed to wrap very well.
The shadowing on her cheek is minimal.

Yup, one light. Large, soft light sources placed close to the subject will wrap and soften shadow edges. Whenever I create soft light I place the light source as close to the subject as possible so that it's just out of frame.

Strobes for 80% of my work. The only continuous lighting I really like are fresnels, either tungsten or LED.
