24-70 f/2.8 part needed. Rear fixed tube.

I dropped my 24-70 f/2.8 lens. It very slightly dented the part of the lens that I think is called the "rear fixed tube", or at least that is what I saw it labeled as in the service manual. If you look at this page, the image at the top, it is the bottom portion of the lens with two white dots on it to indicate the focal length. Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8 Review anyway, when I dropped it, it lightly dented a portion of that ring, and I think it warped it just enough that the focus ring is stiff now. I took that portion of the lens off and when it comes off, the focus ring works fine. When it goes back on, the ring is hard to turn. Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement ring?

Send it to Nikon service center to get it assessed and repaired. They stopped selling parts to 3rd party repair service centers. They should be able to replace the damaged component due to impact, check focusing mechanism and calibration.
