Lens and Filters

When using filters, do they go on the camera first then the lens or the other way around. This would also include macro and others. I have a D60.

Like STMV said, a filter will screw onto threads at the end of your lens. Be careful to buy a size that fits your lens. Odds are your D60 came with a 18-55mm lens. That one uses a 52mm filter diameter. Other type lenses come with different diameter filters. Look on the inside of the lens cap to be sure.
