Ruff Legged Hawk

A grab shot from inside my truck( I can't walk around much or carry anything that weighs more than a pen for another 5 week ) with my D4 & 300mm F4

Thank you Bill - I'm getting there. It's just a "tad" different than the D3s was, however I can tell already we are going to get along just great!

Sam....I don't know what to say, bud, but on my screen, it looks out of focus. I mean, I like the shot and composition and all, but.....it's out of focus! Did ya have the VR on the lens turned off maybe?

It's a "Grab shot" and yes if you "pixel peep" to 100% it's out of focus. LOL the truck hadn't come to a complete stop when I took it. as opposed to the one below when I was out of the truck & set up with a "mono pod"(earlier this year D3s)

Well I was going to say that if I was holding a brand new D4 in my hands I'd probably experience a little camera shake too...especially if I had a 300 sized tele on it...
