so,, where did you convert your camera - which vendor, and which camera? I was thinking of buying a old D70 on ebay and have a conversion done for fun.

Stunning - Iv always loved the dark skies and water - and the white foliage of infrared ! But I particulary like the ghostly pale skin on portaits - usually coupled with very dark eyes. Can be abit spooky looking :)
Personaly I would not touch it - one of the beauties is the arty look and the extreme exposures it often produces.

this was produced with a $29 IR filter and it was intentional how it turned out..An 8 second exposure...With a converted camera the exposure time is as wih a normal camera..

I know IR isn't everybody's cup of tea but I love the effect...I've priced having a camera converted and it's beyond what I can afford "$500 + postage" here in Australia...I saw on Ebay the other day some point & shoots that had been converted...I think these were in America...
