Factory Refurb lenses? Any good??

Are factory refurb lenses worth the cost savings? I see allot of them on ebay and have been wondering what you really get. Thanks

I got a refurbished camera and lens from Nikon. I did have an issue with the camera at first. I was getting spots on my pictures from the mirror slapping lubricant on the sensor. It finally cleared up after usage and cleaning. No problems with the lens.

I bought a factory refurb D5100 and it was perfect and hasn't missed a beat. Just be sure you get a factory refurb from a dealer and not an owner refurb.

I have had no problem with my 55-300 that is a factory refurb. Saved $150.

Are you guys going through dealers on ebay? Suggestions on good dealers would be helpful. I am looking for a 55-300 DX lens for my D3100.

I found the dealer on eBay. Nikon factory authorized refurb. Saved me a lot of money and I couldn't tell the difference from absolutely new.
