70-200 f2.8 first impressions

The lens is large, heavy but amazing. Of all my lenses this has the fastest and most accurate auto focus. I did a little more "Just Plinking" around the yard. All are handheld.

Nice!! Have you the 24-70mm also? My experience with the 24-70mm is identical to your's with the 70-200mm. I think all 3 of the trilogy lenses are just amazing lenses. I mean, at the price they're asking for them they better darn well be!

The 24-70 is next, I just can't believe how well these higher end lenses work, expensive yes (I buy used usually), great glass also yes. For my D800 the trilogy is my new goal.

I can see how that would happen, just not a walk around type lens, but can't wait to get it in some lower light situations and see how it works there. I was just reading about it with teleconverters, seems it doesn't mind them either.
