This HDR Photo Defines My Goal

Sometimes, you take 200 photos and hope one stands out. For me, this photo was the highlight of my weekend's efforts.

Nice Ted, the HDR effect works very nice with that shot, gives it an "old" feel. I like it.

Like the way the glass is there, but not as a glare on glass if you know what I mean.

Thats what I try to do when I do HDR. I don't try to over do it.

Exactly. That's one of the points that puts this one in my favorites catagory. To me, HDR is a tool to express dimension, the third dimension. This particular photo shows levels of depth, almost like you could reach in there and bring something out. The glass shows where that depth begins. Add the ability of the camera/lens to pick up details, and you have my mission goals. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but for me, I really like it.
