Lantana Airplane and Car Show, and Pancake Breakfast

I drove up with hopes of getting some good photo-ops. Got a few. It was very cloudy and I left when I felt rain drops.

This is a military plane, but I didn't recognize it, so I don't know what it is.

I'm still trying to figure out what this plane is. It was the only military plane in the show. I'm guessing it's some kind of scout plane, but I really don't know.

That is an OV-1D Mohawk.

This is an observation and attack aircraft made by Grumman.

Thanks Pete. It just made sense as a recon plane.

The Grumman OV-1 Mohawk is an armed military observation and attack aircraft, designed for battlefield surveillance and light strike capabilities. It is of twin turboprop configuration, and carried two crewmembers with side by side seating. The Mohawk was intended to operate from short, unimproved runways in support of United States Army maneuver forces.

I think this is a 1931 Waco 10 GXE manufactured by the Weaver Aircraft Company.

But I could be wrong!

I think this is another Waco but it's not finished yet. It certainly is not certified for flight.
There is something about it that just doesn't look right. Its almost like this is a re-creation instead of a restoration.
