Yesterday, I had the pleasure of teaching for a day long photo shot day. Part the the session was lens selection, so I demo the ancient Nikkor fisheye. Not a lens to use every day, but fun to play with. _DSC2604-green-world--adjust.jpg

I was demonstrating macro hand holding technique, and used this lens as the subject, anybody guess which lens this is? _DSC5424-lens.jpg

I was going to guess an old Nikkor 55mm f/3.5 Macro, but the barrel that extends on mine is black, not silver, so I remain uncertain. It works great with my D5100; most any shot I take at f/32 at 30 Seconds comes out very well and the M2 Ring is fully adaptable.

The old Nikkon 8mm Fisheye is a valuable lens. You need a hand truck to carry it around though. ;)
