is the Nikon Zoom-Nikkor 28-80mm F/3.3-5.6 AF G Aspherical Lens worth looking into for 35$.
i have the 18-55 anf 50-200 already.
Mind you this 28-80 is yucky silver but if it works good think it might be worth looking into for my D5000.

Opinions needed.
Thanks eh!

You have this length covered with your other lens...The only reason I would buy some thing in the same length would be if it was a much better lens...I'm sure this lens isn't better then what you have..

I have this lens [below] it's one of the first that I bought...

It's the lightest lens in my arsenal and as a walkabout lens, it's fine. I really like the fact that it lets me get very close to my subjects if need to be.

It's probably NOT as sharp as your 18-55, but for 35 $, it can be useful.

Looks like a good lens, but since it is not an AF-S lens, you'll need to manaully focus it on your D5000.
