Went for a walk through the local cemetery this morning to visit the duck pond. It was around 9am, partly cloudy with a few sprinkles. Still have a lot to figure out on this camera, but I'm happy with my progress with it.

Just as an FYI, I'm still trying to decide between Aperture and Lightroom. All of these shots were processed with Aperture.

After the cemetery I headed downtown to re-shoot a large wall mural that a local art group recently finished. Still looking for the best angle and settings to capture it properly.

Very nice shots, especially the sandstone castle. I often go to parts of Oklahoma for business. What town is this?
Thanks! McAlester, down in southeast Oklahoma. The castle was b
uilt in 1943 by German prisoners of war that were being held at the POW camp northeast of town (
WWII POW Camps
). No trace of the camp exists now and the castle was relocated to the old high school grounds closer to downtown McAlester some years ago.
