Friend of mine pointed me in the direction of this software last night. Dont know if any of you are using this so thought I would post it up.
Its a free download from microsoft and its stitches images together to make large lanscapes.
The image below was a quick test this morning

Width is 23669pixels by 2772pixels and a total of 65.61megapixels
It works really quick, only thing it had trouble with is the clouds. But i have brightend the image to hide this.
Just google microsft IMC.
