Trying out some close-ups with the new camera

As I got home today after the rain, I noticed a couple of creatures coming out to play on my sage palm tree by my front door...




And underneath another branch, a not so friendly creature!




It is surprising how you become aware of so many things around you that you didn't noticed before once you have a nice camera to play with!
