Hi guys, how to turn on HDR in Nikon d5100, i hit the HDR and it says "this option in not available at current settings or in the camera's current state". What should i do? thanks

I believe you must be in Jpeg mode. Don't use that as a good reperesntation of how good HDR can be. Two exposures simply does not do it justice and shooting in Jpeg makes it difficult to post process much.

Yeah best results are tripod 3/6 snaps change exp compensation +/- If its landscape or outside wait till its not windy. as a lot of stuff in the picture may look bluureddd!!!

Unless of course the D5100 has bracketing..
