F100 to D90

I am switching to digital and I am going to buy a used D90. I know all my D lenses will fit the camera, but I am wonder what other Nikon Digitals will the lenses work on and what other model will the lenses not work on. Please help

Should work on these D50..D70..D200..D2x..D300s..D3..D7000..D700..D4..D800..

Wont AF on D40..D60..D3000 series..D5000 series

The D90 should be a good camera to experience digital photography. Nothing much to add here.

I know that it has been said already, but jsut make sure whatever body you get - if it is not a D90 - has an in-body focus motor
