I can't believe I have been on here for just over 2 months now, I had intended to introduce myself earlier, but you know what it's like ....
My names Geoff, I'm 49 and current live in Solihull, England, but lived and grew up in Spain until I was 14, then moved to England with my parents, I started taking photo's at an early age, I must have been about 6 when I was given an Halina camera that took the old 126 size film, then finally got my first 35mm camera, a Yashica rangefinder when I was about 12, I can't remember when I got my first SLR, but I have still got it, a Yashica TL Electro ....
After leaving school and going into engineering, I was made redundant in the early 1980's and then took the decision to turn professional, I did this for quite a few years, then sadly had to pack it in due to medical conditions, but I still like to get out with the camera as much as possible ....
