Are you shooting Lossless Compressed or RAW Uncompressed? 12 or 14 bit? Which color, sRGB or Adobe RGB.

I am using Uncompressed 14bit sRGB

I shoot lossless compressed 12 bit. I did use 14 bit but it kills the fps and to be honest I can't see much difference with my eyes. I rarely shoot jpg. I am using a D300s.

Always uncompressed raw, Adobe. 12 or 14-bit depends upon the subject; for sports, 12-bit as 14-bit slows the cyclic rate to a paltry 2.5 fps.

Hogans Report?

Just upgraded from a D300 to a D800. But on both I used and use 12 bit lossless compressed. Color space doesn't matter until you convert. Then I use sRGB, since it's the one I know all applications can handle. I do my processing in 16 bit and then convert to 8 when I save the JPEG.

I think Thom Hogan did an article on 12 v 14 and to all intents and purposes, there wasn't a difference
