D3100/D3200 Confused

Hello,

I have used S550 for 3 years and now I feel the limitations of it. Till few months back I was using it only for occasions and now I am using it much more and feel of upgrading to either D3100 or D3200. I feel I should go for D3100 and get some additional lens instead of going for D3200. I will not be upgrading the camera so soon.

After going thorugh many threads I was a bit confused about my thoughts of whether to go for D3100kit+additional lens or D3200 kit and go for additional lens at later stage.

I am an amature shooter and will not use much additional features at this moment.
Can experts help me to overcome the dilemma to decide between these two options.

I have two cameras. The 3100 and 300s. I still use the 3100 a lot. It's a great camera. I do a lot of hand held macro and my 300s gets a little heavy. As for upgrading to a 3200, I wouldn't.. Don't let the 3100-3200 comparison confuse you. The upgrades aren't needed. I would save up for the lenses.

3200 just got a Gold Award, my vote, 3200, then you will have a camera that will not need upgrading for a while.
