Nikon D3000 query.

I have Nikon D3000 .
Error: Press shutter release button again.
Yesterday I took a picture, it worked but then All of sudden my camera started showing the Error: Press shutter release button again. I really dont undrstand this problem.
what should i do to fix this problem..I bought this camera 2009 October .

First, check for a firmware upgrade for the camera. second I would format the memory card and try it again. Third, clean the contacts between the lens and the camera body. if none of these help send it to Nikon for repair.
