Black and white conversion?

Can any of you suggest a good book about black and white conversion. I have photoshop CS6. And have not been happy with any of my digital black and white so far.

Have a look on you tube..Should be some good information on there..

I will check out Youtube. But would prefer a good book.

I have found a couple of books on Amazon that look appealing. But they are for cs4. I don't know how much different it is than cs6.
