D5100 w/ Kit Lens and Tamron 70-300mm VC Landscape Attempts

I am posting some pics of my attempts at doing some landscape/miscellaneous shots. I think it is definately time to replace the kit lens since it just doesn't stand up to the quality of images I was getting from my Tamron lens. Thanks for looking.
