Adding a signature to photos automatically

I've noticed quite a few members always add their name and maybe a copyright symbol to the photos. I know how to do this individually using something like Photoshop, but was wondering if there is a away of automating it and maybe using a batch option to do lots at once.

The software I have is DXO, CS5 and LR4. The latter I haven't really used yet in anger.

I know that you can do it in lightroom as part of the export process. You first have to do a photoshop file with the signature and then it can be added up automatically as part of the process.

I prefer doing it in Photoshop for each image individually. I can then select the color to match my image and then reduce the opacity so it'n not to intrusive. With practice it doesn't take long.

As Marcel said, when you export from lightroom. You can create the watermark with copyright and signature in lightroom also, if you want a logo, you would have to import that.
