Any thoughts on this tripod?

Not having a lot of disposable cash at the moment and shooting a friends wedding this weekend...is this a good/decent tripod?

I don't regularly use a tripod and have no clue how much I'd use one...

I have no personal experience with that model but I do see where you can get it for half that price on Amazon.

Although after glancing at the reviews I'm not sure I would want it. Terms like "moderately stable" don't exactly inspire confidence. That's like saying a contraceptive "sorta works".

A tripod should be very sturdy or it is worthless in my opinion. You don't want to spend money on something that is going to sit in the closet because 1) it is either too heavy and hard to carry, or 2) too lightweight and does not keep your images stable.

Just my $0.02.

Seems like mail-order is going to be too slow for you to make your weekend deadline. Try local stores and get the opinions of those in the store that use different products.
