Does anyone know an easy way to get the shuitter count?
I did find one web site but all it did was to turn the screen black.

Panda UIEXIF 2 is a free EXIF Viewer you can use
Exif viewer : Opanda IExif - Professional EXIF Viewer & Editor in Windows / IE / Firefox
Download the program and run it. Choose a photo and scroll down to near the bottom and it will show you your shutter count.

Thanks.I wonder if there is another programme. This seems to download things I don't want including a toolbar and takes away my Google page.

Yes that's the one I tried but it just turns my screen black
Photoshop turns your screen black? If you don't have Photoshop you can use Adobe Elements to get shutter count.

I use shutter count all the time. Works great for me. Browse to pick a file, upload it, get the shutter count and some other specs.
Simple, easy, nothing to download on the computer, just a bookmark!
That is what I use also using CS5, under file info.
