watermarking photos?

I've been taking sports pictures at our school and would like to make available for everyone to see. But would also like them to have to ask permisssion before printing. Any suggestions on watermarking 1000+ pix quickly? Thank you!

If you use Lightroom or Aperture (Mac) theses two could mark them in a one shot export. With both programs you create your watermark in a file and tell the program to apply it to the exports with size, placement and transparency settings that you decide.

This would be my first choice for the amount of pics you mention.

Exactly what Marcel said. I use LR3 for all my on photo watermarking.

Same with LR4. Not as easy, but you can "batch convert" and add watermarks via FastStome Image Viewer. This product is is free for personal and educational (including non-profit organization) use.
