Some have called it over-cooked or whatever, but it's the "Grunge" option in the HDR software..........

I think it has a nice fantasy look to it. I think the HDR was well done, not a lot of haloing. However, my first criticism is about the framing; I cant help but wish you had gotten a wider perspective. Second, it is very busy.

HDR is also my new-found addiction. I've been playing around with different exposures and programs. It's a fun process with surprising results. If it wasn't for this forum, I may have never "discovered" HDR. Enjoy yourself.

Yes, HDR is great. This one needs just a touch more contrast. More shadows. I find myself thinking about shots I need to redo using HDR. recently got a new heavy duty tripod and it make all the difference in HDR.

Thanks.
It a picture of the end of our house. The building on the left, is an open shed, where the lawnmower is kept. If you walk straight towards the brick wall, and turn left past the shed, there's steps going up to the front yard. We live in a basement apartment.

For doing HDR, I want to get this book: Amazon.com: The HDR Book: Unlocking the Pros' Hottest Post-Processing Techniques (9780321776891): Rafael Concepcion: Books RC is considered one of the best with HDR. He does some outstanding stuff. He's part of the Kelby Group, if you're familiar with them. Here's a couple of their sites if you'd like to check them out. http://kelbytv.com/kelby-tv-episodes/ ...... http://kelbytraining.com/ KelbyTV site is free. KelbyTraining.com is not, but pretty reasonable. I signed up for the training, and like it a lot. In the next couple of days, I'll be taking Joe McNally's lesson on using one flash. You can't get any better than Joe McNally for flash. :)
