Sent Snowball to a safer place

My three favorite shots of Snowball the Albino Groundhog. Found out today that a neighbor (two houses up) had trapped and got rid of two of Snowball's pups. This evening she trapped Snowball and was going to get rid of her. When we found out, we asked to allow us to get rid of her. Another neighbor is taking her to a large farm near here and will release her were she won't get hunted or messed with.

I know groundhogs are Rodents and considered varmits, but it was fun having her wandering around out back and watching her.

For a min I thought you had to put your cat to sleep.

I didn't know there were albino ground hogs. haha

Again, Pete only eats that which is "Flattened" on the road. I heard he drives around with a shove.


Meanwhile. To protect the others, we set traps last night and caught all 4 of snowballs pups. They have now been taken to be released where Mama was dropped off. It's hard to take a picture through a cage. This one had a 1" grid on it so I had to get right up next to the cage. You can still faintly see the cage.
