I've recently decided to return to photography for spending my spare time. I used to shoot with Canon film cameras, but when I decided to get back into the avocation my research led me to Nikon DSLRs as being the most technologically advanced and the most ergonomically designed. I perceive that Nikon is totally immersed as a imaging company whereas other firms seem to be very diversified with many non optical branches. Anyway, I started off by purchasing a Nikon D-40 (I know, you can chuckle but I've found it to be an excellent camera) for boning up on the Nikon system, and then would like to save up for a new D-700(s?) or if I win the lottery, a D-3s.
