Nikon D40 18 - 55mm lens.

I went away on holiday without my Nikon D40 last week and returned home to my cousin (who was babysitting our dogs) had dropped my Nikon D40 and had smashed the Standard Lens.

I was wondering where the best place to buy a new one? I have a 55 - 200mm that I'm using at the moment but I really need my Standard one again, haha.

Would you suggest Ebay at all? Also what about Second hand?

EBAY is great because several equipment shops have a presence there, and you can buy it with out playing the bidding game. I hope that this helps.

Check out KEH on the web. They usually have a bunch of good condition used Nikkor lenses...
