I started reading Jason Odell's book. Bought this one because it was the cheapest ($9.99 on iTunes). I'm really impressed. The content is very well organized and logical. I really like his recommendations for settings for different situations in order to take maximum advantage of the J1/V1.

I've purchased this book and it's reasonably priced and well worth the cost.

I have Thom's V1 J1 book. Thom does a great job on all his books. I buy one for each camera I own.
