Anyone own any of these? I am looking at picking up a 70-200 f/2.8 in the gray color. I think it would be sweet to have and the price is right. I will see if he responds to my email.

Great lens in whatever colour...I've seen a 28-70mm F2.8 in white/grey they look good

That is only available in the VRI version and not the 70-200mm f2.8 VRII.

Aside from the 28-70mm f2.8, the 300mm f4 AFS might still be available on B & H if you are interested.

Interesting...so these are the lenses available in different finishes if you will...like lt gray???

What was Nikon trying to do with these? Were there lt gray bodied cameras?

The lighter colors don't get as hot when shooting outdoors in the heat Canon had that figured years ago hence their "white pro glass"

Well it doesn't look like the person is too interested in selling. I have emailed the last 3 days in a row with no response. DAMN IT!
