The promise was most likely verbal, so it would sound like "a new Toyota". If it was written as "a new Toy Yoda", and she read it, then she doesn't have a leg to stand on. My gut feeling is, it was verbal. Why else did she think she was getting a new car? To me, this is a practical joke gone bad. I hope they come to some mutually beneficial resolution.
