D3200 in India?

Hi Guys,

I am looking for an entry level SLR. Something not too expensive.
I was almost sure of getting myself the D3100 when I came across some post saying D3200 is soon to be launched in India.
The post said it will be launched in May 2012 and will cost around 35k. (700$)

Can anyone confirm the news? When will it be launched and how much will it cost?

Hi, the D3200 has already announced and, correct me if I'm wrong, for sale in the USA. So, it should be out your way sometimes soon. As for the exact price, Nikon can and do have different prices depending on countries. Nikon Canada is a company that distribute Nikon products in Canada. This is why sometimes cameras are less expensive in Canada than the USA even if we are so close.

From what I've read, it seems like a great entry level camera.
