subscription issues

Didn't know where to put this to I decided this would be the best place for now


1 Every time I post in a thread I am automatically subscribed to that thread how do I stop this?

2 some areas of them forum I get a message saying my post needs to be approved by a mod.. these posts never seem to get approved/don't appear but again I get subscribed to the thread

I have a post in the introduction section that hasn't been approved, or it's vanished, I'm not sure which...
