broken memory card door

my memory card door has been broken. can I buy one from amazon and replace it?
or I should replace all the body

Just take it into a camera shop for repair. It shouldnt be much of a job realy.

I called them and they don't have the door so I decided to buy from amazon and replace it by my self. is that easy?

I wouldnt imagine its any more difficult than fitting a watch strap

Dunno, mine looks a bit more complicated than that. I don't think it would cost more than 50 bucks to get done honestly. I'd just take it in and get it replaced at a camera repair shop after ordering the part on amazon/nikonusa.com/etc.

Essentially, it's a hinge that is allowed to move back and forth and a spring attached to that hinge. Then, the spring seems attached inside somewhere which might be where most of the hard part resides when replacing it. I wouldn't trust myself to do it unless i was certain I could.
