Actually, it's a safety issue. They have all sorts of mess that could prove to be dangerous. Eventually, they will allow the press into the damage. As a matter of fact, they probably are allowing some photojournalist in, already. And yea, Mother Nature can be a real mean lady, when she chooses to.
