Sad sight

Walked into the local gas station and they have a box with all their kodak film in it for $1 per roll. Sad to see the end of film

Wow very sad. I grew up on Kodachrome 25. At the time it was the best film for color transparencies you could get. (At least before Fuji came out and then for cool toned images you used Fuji and warm toned images you used Kodachrome). I must admit I do not miss the expense of film and processing though

Sad indeed

Two years ago I could get Fuji 160C or 160S for about 3.50 a roll...now it is 5.50...film is going to get way expensive...

Now that is something I would have taken a shot of for sure. My girls are young we had to explain it to them when we went to the store when they asked why the camera didn't have a memory card.

Immediately after I snapped this photograph the girl went for the back of my Zeiss Ikon...I showed it to her and she was confused!

Well I ain't gonna miss grain one bit but I will probably get tired of razor sharp photos...
