I took note that Amazon was out of stock of the D7000 starting in December. The price was also a little more than it is now. the shortage was because of the flooding in Thailand, where the D7000 is made.
Luckily Amazon now has them back in stock for $1,199. This new batch is probably the latest to come out of the factory in Thailand. Check it out:
