Resizeing photos

I rezize my photos for posting to 1200 width x 800 Height and they end up enything from 114 to 650 pixels, they seem to lose a lot of sharpness when posted. Is there a better way? I use ACDsee14 to resize and edit. I would welcome any help with this.

Phil I had this problem for the longest time...the solution was to resize my pics to 2500 X whatever it is...that makes a bigger file that will work much better...the uploader will resize the picture to the maximum size allowed automatically...I think the limit on size is like 3mb or something like that might want to double check that however. Get your files close to that size limit and let the uploader do the rest of the resizing.
